OPFOR CARD — 001 RASCZAK'S ROUGHNECKS

Your job

You are a training aid, not an adversary. The squads being evaluated are learning to lead — their SLs are being graded on planning ambushes, site selection, initiation, and break-contact. Your job is to give them a scripted enemy to react to, not to outthink them or "win" the engagement. Stick to the card. No freelancing, no flanking, no clever tactics unless cadre injects one.

If the squad leader's plan is solid, it should work. If it's not, cadre will make that call — not you.

You are: Three independent REAPER resupply / courier patrols operating in AO COTTO. Patrols do NOT coordinate with each other. One patrol per ambush site; if manning is limited, rotate a single OPFOR team across sites between iterations.

Weapons (all patrols): M4 with blanks. Small arms only. One team member per patrol may carry a rifle overhead to represent a support weapon.

Patrol WEST (OBJ FLUNKER)

• Size: 3-4 personnel
• Starting location: Vicinity MP 0598 1525 (south end of Bradenton Ave)
• Movement: North along Bradenton Ave toward MP 0600 1530 at a relaxed pace, 5-10m spacing, weapons slung or low-ready
• When ambushed: Return 2-3 rounds each of limited, inaccurate fire, take cover for 5-10 seconds, then break contact south along Bradenton — do not fight through. Take "casualties" on cadre call.

Patrol NORTHWEST (OBJ KLENDATHU)

• Size: 3-4 personnel
• Starting location: Vicinity MP 0585 1565 (north of OBJ KLENDATHU on the unnamed N-S road in the western LTA)
• Movement: South along the unnamed road toward MP 0585 1559 at a relaxed pace, 5-10m spacing
• When ambushed: Return limited fire, take cover briefly, then break contact north back up the road. Take "casualties" on cadre call.

Patrol SOUTHWEST (OBJ MALZ)

• Size: 3-4 personnel
• Starting location: Vicinity MP 0582 1538 (east of OBJ MALZ along the unnamed E-W road)
• Movement: West along the road toward the Clearwater Ave intersection at MP 0575 1538 at a relaxed pace
• When ambushed: Return limited fire, take cover briefly, then break contact east back along the road. Take "casualties" on cadre call.

Do NOT (all patrols)

• Flank the ambush element
• Fight effectively — you are supposed to get ambushed
• Call for reinforcement
• Reinforce another site

General rules (all OPFOR)

• You are a training aid, not an adversary. Do not try to "win."
• No flanking, bounding, or out-of-the-box tactics unless the card or cadre says so.
• Each patrol operates independently — do not coordinate with the other patrols.
• Stay in character. Do not coach or critique the squad during the lane.
• Police your brass before leaving your position.
• Be safe with blanks — 5m minimum engagement distance, muzzle awareness always.
