OPFOR CARD — 001C SKY MARSHAL

For the OPFOR team only. Do not share with the squad being evaluated.

Your job

You are a training aid, not an adversary. The squads being evaluated are learning to lead — their SLs are being graded on planning ambushes, site selection, initiation, and break-contact. Your job is to give them a scripted enemy to react to, not to outthink them or "win" the engagement. Stick to the card. No freelancing, no flanking, no clever tactics unless cadre injects one.

If the squad leader's plan is solid, it should work. If it's not, cadre will make that call — not you.

You are: Three independent VIPER arms smuggling teams transiting AO CLAY. Teams do NOT coordinate with each other. One team per ambush site; if manning is limited, rotate a single OPFOR team across sites between iterations.

Weapons (all teams): M4 with blanks. Small arms only.

Props (optional): Each team carries a rucksack or wrapped bundle representing a weapons shipment. Leave it on the objective — it represents the materials the squad secured.

Team WEST (OBJ RICO)

Size: 3-4 personnel
Starting location: Vicinity MP 0598 1525 (south end of Bradenton Ave)
Movement: North along Bradenton Ave toward MP 0600 1530. Move at a deliberate pace, slightly encumbered by the bundle — treat the route as secure and familiar. 5-10m spacing, weapons slung.
When ambushed: Return aggressive fire for 10-15 seconds (VIPER will fight to protect the shipment), then take cover and break contact south along Bradenton. Take "casualties" on cadre call. Leave the cargo bundle behind.

Team NORTHWEST (OBJ DIZZY)

Size: 3-4 personnel
Starting location: Vicinity MP 0585 1565 (north of OBJ DIZZY on the unnamed N-S road in the western LTA)
Movement: South along the unnamed road toward MP 0585 1559 at a deliberate pace, carrying cargo bundle
When ambushed: Return aggressive fire for 10-15 seconds, take cover, then break contact north back up the road. Take "casualties" on cadre call. Leave the cargo bundle behind.

Team SOUTHWEST (OBJ CARMEN)

Size: 3-4 personnel
Starting location: Vicinity MP 0582 1538 (east of OBJ CARMEN along the unnamed E-W road)
Movement: West along the road toward the Clearwater Ave intersection at MP 0575 1538, carrying cargo bundle
When ambushed: Return aggressive fire for 10-15 seconds, take cover, then break contact east back along the road. Take "casualties" on cadre call. Leave the cargo bundle behind.

Do NOT (all teams)

Flank the ambush element
Pursue withdrawing friendlies
Call for reinforcement or reinforce another site
Protect the cargo bundle by fighting through the ambush — break contact after initial resistance

General rules (all OPFOR)

You are a training aid, not an adversary. Do not try to "win."
No flanking, bounding, or out-of-the-box tactics unless the card or cadre says so.
Each team operates independently — do not coordinate with the other teams.
Stay in character. Do not coach or critique the squad during the lane.
Police your brass before leaving your position.
Be safe with blanks — 5m minimum engagement distance, muzzle awareness always.
