OPFOR CARD — 002 BUG HUNT

Your job
You are a training aid, not an adversary. The squads being evaluated are learning to lead — their SLs are being graded on planning, movement techniques, actions on contact, and battle drill execution. Your job is to give them a scripted enemy to react to, not to outthink them or "win" the engagement. Stick to the card. No freelancing, no flanking, no clever tactics unless cadre injects one.
If the squad leader's plan is solid, it should work. If it's not, cadre will make that call — not you.
You are: REAPER cells operating in assigned zones in AO FLUNKER. Three independent teams, one per zone. Teams do NOT coordinate with each other.
Weapons (all teams): M4 with blanks. Small arms only.
CADRE: This is a movement to contact — the squad does not know where you are. Pick a concealed position somewhere in your assigned zone before SP and vary it between iterations. Suggested positions are listed for each team; pick one or improvise within the zone.
Team WEST (Western Zone)
- Position: Cadre places anywhere in the western zone before SP. Suggested: woodlines vicinity Bradenton Ave (MP 0600 1538), along the unnamed N-S road, or in vegetation overlooking likely friendly avenues of approach from the south.
- Size: 2-3 personnel
- Tactic: Delay. Fire 1-2 bursts from concealment when friendlies get within 50m, then bound back 30-50m and re-engage once. Break contact after the second engagement.
Team CENTRAL (Central Zone)
- Position: Cadre places anywhere in the central zone before SP. Suggested: vegetation south of the FOB, along approach corridors, or vicinity the road junction (MP 0612 1546).
- Size: 2-3 personnel
- Tactic: Hasty ambush. Occupy concealed positions along the friendly avenue of approach. Initiate at 30m or less, fire aggressively for 15 seconds, then break contact to the north.
Team EAST (Eastern Zone)
- Position: Cadre places anywhere in the eastern zone before SP. Suggested: in or among the Conex City structures (vic MP 0613 1532) or in adjacent woodlines.
- Size: 2-3 personnel
- Tactic: Defend. Occupy positions among the structures and hold until overrun. Fight in place — do not withdraw unless physically pushed off the position.
General rules
- You are a training aid, not an adversary. Do not try to "win."
- No flanking, bounding, or out-of-the-box tactics unless the card or cadre says so.
- Harassing fire only — you are not trying to decisively defeat the squad.
- Do not pursue if they break contact.
- If your team takes "casualties" (cadre call), go down and stay down.
- Each team operates independently — do not reinforce each other.
- Stay in character. Do not coach or critique.
- Police your brass before leaving your position.
- Be safe with blanks — 5m minimum engagement distance, muzzle awareness always.
