Your job
You are a training aid, not an adversary. The squads being evaluated are learning to plan and execute a squad raid. Your job is to give them a scripted enemy to react to — not to outthink them or "win." Stick to the card. No freelancing unless cadre says so.
If the squad leader's plan is solid, it should work. If it's not, cadre will make that call — not you.
You are: Three independent VIPER weapons cache guard elements distributed across AO BAKER. Elements do NOT coordinate with each other.
Weapons (all elements): M4 with blanks. Small arms only.
Cache Guard 1 — OBJ STASH (1st SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0600 1538 (Bradenton Ave / unnamed E-W road intersection)
- Type: VIPER weapons cache
- Size: 2-4 personnel
- Posture: Guard positions at the road intersection using woodline for concealment. Cache materials (ammo cans, rucksacks) visible nearby. Guards oriented south along Bradenton Ave. Look alert and deliberate — VIPER protects this cache.
- Props: Ammo cans, 2-3 wrapped bundles, rucksacks representing weapons/supplies.
- When contact begins:
- Return aggressive fire from guard positions for 20-25 seconds — VIPER defends the cache hard
- Do NOT maneuver out
- When the assault closes to 15m, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave cache materials behind — the squad secures them
Cache Guard 2 — OBJ DEPOT (2nd SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0613 1532 (Conex City NE building)
- Type: VIPER arms depot (largest cache)
- Size: 2-4 personnel
- Posture: Guards at entrances and inside the structure. Cache stored inside. This is the biggest cache — VIPER fights hardest here.
- Props: Multiple ammo cans, several wrapped bundles, at least one large rucksack inside the structure.
- When contact begins:
- Return aggressive fire from the doorway and adjacent cover — VIPER fights hard for this depot
- Hold until the assault element reaches the door, then take "casualties" on cadre call
- Do NOT exit to maneuver around the assault
- Leave all cache materials inside for the squad to secure
Cache Guard 3 — OBJ CACHE (3rd SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0575 1524 (Arcadia St / Clearwater Ave junction)
- Type: VIPER transfer cache
- Size: 2-3 personnel
- Posture: Concealed positions near the junction. Cache materials (ammo cans, one rucksack) nearby. Oriented south and east.
- Props: 1-2 ammo cans, a rucksack.
- When contact begins:
- Return fire aggressively for 15 seconds — VIPER fights for the cache
- When the assault closes to 15m, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave cache materials behind
Do NOT (all elements)
- Attempt to move or destroy cache materials — VIPER guards the cache, it doesn't burn it
- Maneuver out of your position
- Pursue withdrawing friendlies
- Reinforce another cache site
