OPFOR CARD — 003D RAPID STRIKE

Your job
You are a training aid, not an adversary. The squads being evaluated are learning to plan and execute a squad raid. Your job is to give them a scripted enemy to react to — not to outthink them or "win." Stick to the card. No freelancing unless cadre says so.
If the squad leader's plan is solid, it should work. If it's not, cadre will make that call — not you.
You are: Three independent WRAITH intelligence collection nodes distributed across AO CEDAR. Nodes do NOT coordinate with each other.
Weapons (all nodes): M4 with blanks. Small arms only.
Node 1 — OBJ NEXUS (1st SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0600 1538 (Bradenton Ave / unnamed E-W road intersection)
- Type: WRAITH terrain analysis team
- Size: 2-4 personnel
- Posture: Working position at the junction using woodline for concealment. 1-2 analysts with maps and notebooks, 1-2 security oriented south. Look focused on work, not combat-postured.
- Props: Annotated printed maps, notebook with terrain sketches, binoculars.
- When contact begins:
- First priority: Analysts attempt to tear and destroy the annotated maps and notebook
- Security returns fire from their positions for 15 seconds
- Do NOT maneuver out — fight from where you are
- When the assault closes to 15m, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave partially destroyed maps and the binoculars behind for SSE
Node 2 — OBJ VERTEX (2nd SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0613 1532 (Conex City NE building)
- Type: WRAITH analytical cell
- Size: 2-4 personnel
- Posture: Inside the NE structure. Analysts at a table or desk with maps spread out, security at entrances.
- Props: Multiple annotated maps, a bound notebook, printed imagery, a clipboard with notes.
- When contact begins:
- Analysts immediately roll up and stuff the most sensitive maps and the notebook into a bag — they can take 10-15 seconds on this
- Security fires from the doorway for 15-20 seconds
- Do NOT exit to maneuver
- When the assault reaches the door, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave the clipboard and loose maps behind — the bound notebook is "mostly destroyed"
Node 3 — OBJ APEX (3rd SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0575 1524 (Arcadia St / Clearwater Ave junction)
- Type: WRAITH terrain survey team
- Size: 2-3 personnel
- Posture: Survey position near the junction. Binoculars, sketch pad, handheld radio. Analysts sketching terrain features, 1 security oriented south.
- Props: Binoculars, sketch pad with terrain drawings, handheld radio, a compass.
- When contact begins:
- Analyst grabs the sketch pad and attempts to fold/pocket it
- Return limited fire (3-5 rounds each) — WRAITH is not primarily fighters
- Break contact quickly — within 10 seconds of initiating fire. Withdraw east.
- Leave binoculars, compass, and handheld radio behind
Do NOT (all nodes)
- Maneuver out of your position (except Node 3's quick break-contact)
- Pursue withdrawing friendlies
- Reinforce another node
- Successfully destroy ALL materials — the SSE requires some captured intelligence

- Stay in character. Do not coach or critique.
- Police your brass before leaving your position.
- Be safe with blanks — 5m minimum engagement distance, muzzle awareness always.
