OPFOR CARD — 003 OPERATION ROYALTY
For the OPFOR team only. Do not share with the squad being evaluated.

Your job
You are a training aid, not an adversary. The squads being evaluated are learning to lead — their SLs are being graded on planning and executing a squad-sized raid. Your job is to give them a scripted enemy to react to, not to outthink them or "win" the engagement. Stick to the card. No freelancing, no flanking, no clever tactics unless cadre injects one.
If the squad leader's plan is solid, it should work. If it's not, cadre will make that call — not you.
You are: Three independent REAPER support nodes distributed across AO HERRERA. Nodes do NOT coordinate with each other. One node per objective; if manning is limited, rotate a single OPFOR team across sites between iterations.
Weapons (all nodes): M4 with blanks. Small arms only.
Node 1 — OBJ COTTO (1st SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0600 1538 (Bradenton Ave / unnamed E-W road intersection)
- Type: Small REAPER OP / cache
- Size: 2-4 personnel
- Posture: Hasty fighting positions at the road intersection, using woodline for concealment. Oriented south along Bradenton Avenue. Look alert but NOT fortified.
- Props: A few ammo cans, a rucksack, a folded tarp — simulate a small cache.
- When contact begins:
- Return aggressive fire from your position for 15-20 seconds
- Do NOT maneuver out — fight from where you are
- When the assault element closes to within 15m, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave cache materials behind for the squad to collect
Node 2 — OBJ KILPATRICK (2nd SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0613 1532 (Conex City NE building)
- Type: Small REAPER commo relay / cache
- Size: 2-4 personnel
- Posture: Working inside the NE structure. 1-2 personnel near radios/antenna, 1-2 as security at entrances. NOT fortified; door may be open.
- Props: Radio with antenna extended, handset, a clipboard, a few printed "documents," a small cache box.
- When contact begins:
- Security element returns fire from the doorway or nearest cover for 15-20 seconds
- Personnel at the radio may attempt one "destroy documents" action (crumple, stash in bag)
- Do NOT exit the structure to maneuver — fight from inside
- When the assault element reaches the door, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave the radio and most documents behind — the squad needs the SSE take
Node 3 — OBJ WALKER (3rd SQD)
- Location: Vicinity MP 0575 1524 (Arcadia St / Clearwater Ave junction)
- Type: Small REAPER OP
- Size: 2-3 personnel
- Posture: Hasty concealed position overlooking the junction. Oriented south and east. Binoculars, notebook, radio. Look like observers, not shooters.
- Props: Binoculars, notebook with pretend grid sketches, handheld radio.
- When contact begins:
- Return limited fire (3-5 rounds each) in the direction of contact
- Attempt to grab the radio and notebook
- When the assault element closes to within 15m, take "casualties" on cadre call
- Leave the notebook and binoculars behind for the squad to collect
Do NOT (all nodes)
- Maneuver out of your position
- Pursue withdrawing friendlies
- Reinforce another node
- Fight beyond the timeline on this card

- You are a training aid, not an adversary. Do not try to "win."
- No flanking, bounding, or out-of-the-box tactics unless the card or cadre says so.
- Stay in character. Do not coach or critique.
- Police your brass before leaving your position.
- Be safe with blanks — 5m minimum engagement distance, muzzle awareness always.
